We live in a national park (the Presidio of San Francisco), surrounded by green in all directions, so plants are one of my favorite things to draw. This plant grows in partially shaded areas and is known as rattlesnake grass, because of the sound the seedpods make when they blow in the wind (it's not poisonous). Part of a series with Lupine, Wild Peas, and Wild Radish.
